About Me

Hello, I’m Tolu Balogun

As a counselling psychologist, I prioritize creating a safe and supportive space where we can explore your experiences with care. My approach is client-centred, evidence-based and trauma-informed, helping to work through challenges while moving toward healing and personal growth. I also offer Christian-based counselling when requested.

Some of the areas I support individuals with include, but are not limited to:

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship and attachment issues

  • Addiction recovery

  • Depression

  • Self-esteem challenges

  • Grief and loss

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Covenant University, Ota, and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University, BC, Canada.

I am passionate about supporting individuals as they work toward achieving their therapy goals, and I strive to build therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy, compassion, authenticity, and understanding.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, watching K-dramas, playing card games like SkyJo, dancing, and engaging in movement as a way to relieve stress and boost my mood.
